Senior Director Client & Account Growth, Utilities

Epik Solutions | Full-Time | Bay Area Hybrid

Location: Bay Area, CA | Hybrid: 2 3 days per week onsite at Pleasant Hill, CA / San Ramon, CA

Compensation: Depending on experience; $180,000 - 220,000 base salary with bonus plus benefits

About the Role
The Senior Director will lead strategic account growth across key utility clients, strengthening
executive relationships, developing account strategies, identifying expansion opportunities,
and coordinating cross-functional delivery. The ideal candidate brings strong utility-industry
experience and a demonstrated ability to influence senior business and technology
stakeholders.

What You Will Be Doing

• Own strategic relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers across assigned utility accounts.
• Develop and execute account growth strategies focused on expanding existing relationships, services, and technology adoption.
• Identify whitespace opportunities by understanding client business priorities, technology landscapes, organizational structures, and strategic initiatives.
• Build and maintain executive-level stakeholder maps and engagement plans.
• Lead account planning, pipeline development, forecasting, and opportunity progression.
• Partner with delivery, technology, and leadership teams to shape solutions aligned with client needs.
• Lead executive business reviews and strategic planning conversations with customers.
• Develop trusted-advisor relationships and position Epik Solutions as a strategic technology partner.
• Track competitive and industry developments that may create new opportunities within assigned accounts.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to account management and client-facing team members as needed.

You Have

• Proven senior-level account management, client leadership, or business development experience within the Utility industry.
• Strong track record of growing strategic accounts and expanding technology services relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and build relationships with C-level executives and senior decision-makers.
• Strong understanding of Cloud, Digital Transformation, Data Engineering, and/or Data Analytics solutions.
• Excellent executive communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong strategic thinking, business planning, and pipeline management capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively across sales, delivery, technology, and executive leadership teams.
• Must be local to the Bay Area and comfortable working in a hybrid environment 2 3 days per week.
