An established Japanese manufacturer of functional materials is seeking a motivated B2B Sales Representative in Novi, MI Key Responsibilities Manage and support existing accounts, primarily U.S.-based customers Identify and develop new business opportunities Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships Visit customers to understand their needs and identify opportunities for growth Prepare quotations and conduct price negotiations Coordinate internally regarding customer requirements, requests, and business opportunities Collaborate with the Japanese Manager and other internal teams on new customer development Monitor account activity and identify opportunities to increase sales Manage the sales process independently and follow through on customer commitments Perform other sales-related duties as assigned Qualifications Approximately 3–5 years of B2B sales experience Idiomatic-level English proficiency, with strong verbal and written communication skills Strong customer relationship management skills Experience preparing quotations and participating in price negotiations Ability to independently manage responsibilities, priorities, and follow-up Ability to generate new business and build relationships with U.S.-based customers Ability to collaborate effectively in a multicultural and international work environment Valid driver’s license Authorization to work in the United States Preferred Qualifications Sales experience in a manufacturing environment Experience in the automotive industry Experience selling industrial materials, resins, chemicals, adhesives, or related products Experience working with multinational or multicultural teams Japanese language proficiency is a plus but is not required Travel Requirements This position requires approximately 10%–20% travel Occasional overnight travel of approximately one to two days may be required #J-18808-Ljbffr Pasona N A, Inc.
