Primary Objective Operate various powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and convey orders to the packing station or shipping area. Shift 2nd: M‑F, 2:30 pm‑11:00 pm Equipment Knowledge Sit‑Down Forklift Order Picker/Cherry Picker Forklift Responsibilities Picking Operate powered industrial truck(s) to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets. Key order into Warehouse Management System (WMS). Verify stock availability and audit orders for accuracy. Convey picked orders to the packing station or shipping areas. Receiving Operate various powered industrial trucks to receive product into the warehouse and prepare for stocking. Open crates and inspect product. Apply labels to product according to established procedures. Verify shading of product and place into accurate warehouse location. Putaway Utilize powered industrial equipment to move product into pre‑designated areas within the warehouse once received. Key location of product into inventory control system and place product onto shelves. Ensure product is placed into accurate location. SPC Check/Pack Checking Wrap and pack products by hand into boxes for shipping. Label boxes with packing slip. Load boxes into conveyor belt. Verify orders for accuracy. General Monitor equipment or processes and report problems to supervisor. Follow standard operating and safety procedures. Keep area safe, clean, and organized. Perform other related duties as required. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. 1 or more years of previous distribution/warehouse experience, including a minimum of six months to one year of sit‑down forklift, reach truck, and OP experience. Good oral and written communication skills, record‑keeping skills, listening skills, and accurate measurement capability. Ability to work in a safe, conscientious manner.
