FLIPSIDE EVENT SERVICES Production Assistant – Part-Time Contractor Position: Production Assistant Employment Type: Part-Time / Contract / Event-Based Compensation: $25.00 per hour Schedule: Flexible; based on event schedule and client needs Company: Flipside Event Services LLC Location: Various event locations Position Summary Flipside Event Services is seeking dependable, professional, and energetic Production Assistants to support our event operations team. This is a part-time, event-based contract position ideal for individuals who enjoy working in fast-paced event environments and providing excellent guest and client service. Production Assistants will assist with event registration and guest check-in, event setup, onsite event support, and event breakdown . Team members may work corporate events, festivals, conferences, private events, community events, activations, and other live productions. Key Responsibilities Registration & Guest Check-In Greet guests, attendees, vendors, and clients professionally. Assist with event registration and check-in. Verify guest names, tickets, credentials, or registration information. Distribute badges, wristbands, credentials, event materials, or welcome packets. Provide guests with basic event directions and information. Assist with managing registration and check-in lines. Communicate guest issues or special requests to event supervisors. Event Setup Assist the production team with pre-event setup. Set up registration tables, chairs, signage, stanchions, check-in areas, and event materials. Assist with placement of event supplies and equipment. Organize event materials and supplies according to instructions. Help prepare guest-facing areas prior to doors opening. Assist vendors, production staff, and event teams as directed. Event Operations Provide general onsite production support during events. Help maintain organized event areas. Assist with guest flow and directional support. Run event-related errands or deliver materials between designated areas. Communicate operational issues to the Production Manager or Event Supervisor. Follow event timelines, instructions, and Flipside Event Services procedures. Maintain a professional and positive attitude when interacting with clients and guests. Event Breakdown Assist with breakdown following the event. Pack registration materials, signage, supplies, and other event materials. Break down tables, chairs, check-in stations, and designated event areas. Organize supplies and equipment for loading or storage. Assist with loading materials when required. Ensure assigned areas are left clean, organized, and ready for venue turnover. Qualifications Must be dependable, punctual, and professional. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Comfortable working in fast-paced event environments. Must be comfortable interacting with guests, clients, vendors, and production staff. Must be available for varying schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays , depending on event schedules. Previous event, hospitality, customer service, registration, or production experience is preferred but not required. Ability to use a smartphone and basic event registration/check-in applications when required. Must have reliable transportation to assigned event locations. Physical Requirements Production Assistants may be required to: Stand and walk for extended periods. Bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements. Assist with moving event supplies and materials. Lift and carry approximately 25–40 pounds when necessary. Work indoors or outdoors depending on the event. Compensation $25.00 per hour This is a part-time, contract/event-based position . Hours are not guaranteed and will vary depending on Flipside Event Services' event schedule, client needs, and individual availability.
