Job Description and Duties Under the general direction of the Office Chief of the training branch, a Caltrans Maintenance Manager I, the Maintenance Leadership Program Manager will coordinate the Division of Maintenance Leadership Training activities by ensuring all curricula presented are aligned with and support Caltrans goals, values and mission. Tasks include coordinating with the Learning and Development Office (LDO) for curriculum oversight and relevance to the Division of Maintenance, managing class schedules, and effectively utilizing written and oral communication skills. Special Requirements Possession of a valid driver’s license is required when operating a State‑owned or leased vehicle. Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is required. Failure to submit an SOQ will disqualify candidates from the hiring process. SOQs must be no more than two (2) pages in length, no less than 12‑point Arial font, and include “Statement of Qualifications” and your First and Last Name in the header.
