Responsibilities Initiate automotive services and repairs by ascertaining performance problems and services requested. Troubleshoot vehicle problems and services by listening to the customer's description of symptoms, clarifying descriptions, conducting inspections, taking test drives, checking maintenance records, and examining service schedules. Prepare repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, causes discovered, and repairs/services required. Maintain customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of the vehicle, obtaining approval of estimates, providing contact telephone numbers, answering questions and concerns, and arranging towing and temporary transportation. Requirements Automotive dealership Service Advisor experience required. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license. Must possess and maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
