Dumpling Prep / TraineeAs a Dumpling Prep / Trainee, you are part of the heart of the Din Tai Fung kitchen. In this role, you prepare, assemble, fold, and steam the dumplings that our guests know and love. Working in our show kitchen, you'll help showcase the star of our menu while playing a key role on the kitchen team and in the overall guest experience.Dumpling Prep / Trainees are responsible for preparing dumplings from start to finish. This includes measuring and cutting dough, rolling skins, stuffing, sealing, arranging, and steaming dumplings, while ensuring proper meat and allergen identifiers are added. They operate in a show kitchen, requiring them to uphold a tidy and professional look.Training Expectations:Your journey at Din Tai Fung will begin as a Dumpling Trainee. Our hands-on dumpling training program is designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to ensure you have the tools for success. Upon completion of the program, graduates will transition into the Dumpling Prep role, accompanied by a competitive hourly wage increase.
