Job Description

Looking for experts in carpentry, steel fabrication, metal framing, or structural steel. The ideal candidate will excel in reading drawings, taking precise measurements, and producing high-quality work in a manufacturing environment. This role involves fabricating, assembling, fitting, and installing structural and light-gauge steel components used in prefabricated modular systems.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, fit, and install structural and light-gauge steel components.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Take accurate measurements to ensure precision in fabrication.
• Produce quality work in a manufacturing environment.

Essential Skills

• Experience with sheet metal, sheet metal cutting, duct work, and sheet metal fabrication.
• Proficiency in metal carpentry, metal framing, and steel fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in carpentry, steel fabrication, structural steel, metal framing, or a related skilled trade preferred.
• Equivalent experience demonstrating strong fabrication and mechanical skills may be considered.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tuscaloosa, AL.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Tuscaloosa,AL.
