Make a positive impact by supporting K-12 students as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a rewarding, part-time contract role for the upcoming school year. This position provides the chance to work onsite, Monday through Friday for 20 hours each week, offering a balanced schedule that fits well with other commitments. The assignment runs from August 27, 2026, through June 11, 2027. You'll collaborate with educators and families to develop behavioral strategies, empowering students to succeed academically and personally.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a related field (required)
- Active BCBA certification and current Illinois license (required)
- Proven experience working with children or youth with disabilities
- Background in supporting students with autism strongly preferred
- Prior experience as a BCBA in a school-based setting is advantageous
- Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs) tailored to individual student needs
- Provide direct and consultative behavioral support across a K-12 caseload
- Train staff and collaborate with teachers to implement positive supports in the classroom
- Monitor student progress and adjust plans based on data-driven insights
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Serve as an onsite resource for behavior management, crisis intervention, and social skills development
