Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Telemetry to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care utilizing the nursing process within the Telemetry unit.
• Monitor and interpret EKGs and titrate medications such as Amio, Cardizem, and Insulin drips as needed.
• Facilitate SIMs Lab skills, including Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes, ensuring sterile field maintenance.
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4, ensuring quality care in a fast-paced, high turnover environment.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including weekend shifts and holiday rotations.
• Participate in department-specific training and float to tele units and overflow ICU as required.

Qualifications

• Current RN license and ability to submit and verify credentials.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with neuro and telemetry patient care preferred.
• Ability to pass dysrhythmia and SIMs Lab skills exam is mandatory.
• Proficiency in Cerner EMR and ability to handle a fast-paced environment.
