Material Handler

Material Handler Salary Range: $18.00 To $21.00 Hourly FORCE America, Inc. is looking to fill an opening for a Material Handler to work onsite at our Alexandria, MN Valve Manufacturing Division. Overview: Must be able to efficiently pull parts for orders, ship and receive product, assist in inventory counts, move stock throughout the system, and maintain a clean and orderly warehouse. Safely operate a forklift. Move throughout the warehouse to pull and pick orders. Climb ladder to store and pull product. Push product on cart throughout warehouse (while picking and/or shipping product) Utilize inventory count sheet to conduct daily inventory cycle counts. Optimize shelving capacity. Communicate with external providers. Maintain a clean and orderly work environment. Maintain system accuracy and record transactions in ERP operating system. Distribution: Assist in customer service or counter sales. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. 1 year of work experience. Strong comprehension of verbal and written work expectations. Able to work independently and within a team environment. Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize to meet the expectations of the customer. Detail oriented; motivated to provide the highest level of quality. Familiar with Microsoft office tools including, Outlook, Word, Excel, and web applications.
