Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Assist with implementing age-appropriate curriculum activities focused on childhood development and learning outcomes. Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized environment and encouraging positive behavior. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences. Help with basic caregiving tasks such as diapering, feeding, and comforting children as needed. Follow mandated reporting laws to report any concerns related to child safety or well-being promptly. Support staff in maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid and CPR procedures. **Skills**. Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings. Knowledge of child development principles and age-specific needs of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Certification in first aid, CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), including pediatric first aid preferred. Strong classroom management skills to foster a positive learning environment. Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members. Familiarity with special education needs and experience working with children with disabilities is a plus. Demonstrated ability to handle behavior management techniques with patience and professionalism. Experience in caregiving roles such as babysitting or nannying is beneficial.
