Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for students, using therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address their unique needs. \n
- Facilitate family counseling sessions, engaging parents and guardians to create a comprehensive support system for students. \n
- Collaborate closely with school staff, including counselors and teachers, to craft and implement effective individualized treatment plans. \n
- Deliver high-quality crisis intervention services and utilize your clinical judgment to connect clients with timely referrals and resources. \n
- Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of all patient interactions and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations. \n
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, case conferences, and peer supervision sessions to further develop clinical skills and ensure comprehensive care for all patients. \n
Your primary clients will be school-aged children and adolescents facing a multitude of emotional and behavioral challenges. This includes students dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and academic pressures. Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required. \n
- Active licensure as a Clinical Social Worker in the state of Illinois. \n
- A minimum of two years of professional experience in mental health counseling, with a preference for candidates who have worked in school or outpatient settings. \n
- Strong knowledge of and ability to effectively apply evidence-based therapies in clinical practice. \n
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage with diverse populations, including students and their families. \n
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases effectively in a fast-paced environment. \n

- Experience working within a school district or with children and adolescents in counseling settings. \n
- Familiarity with educational systems and the challenges that affect student mental health. \n
