Schedule & Hours:

• 40 hours per week
• 8-hour day shifts: Monday-Friday, 6:30am-3:00pm
• Call: 4 days per month

Preferred Background & Qualifications:

• ARRT (MR) certification required
• BLS (American Heart Association) preferred on hire, required before direct patient care
• Minimum 1 year of hospital-based MRI experience (team setting)
• Proficiency with GE MRI systems (1.5T Signa Artist, 3T Premier) required
• PACS and EPIC EHR familiarity preferred
• Associate's degree from ARRT-accredited institute preferred
• Willingness to reside at least 50 miles outside Glen Allen

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI scanners, ensuring adherence to established safety and imaging protocols
• Prepare patients and provide clear instructions before, during, and after procedures
• Perform IV insertions and administer magnetic contrast agents
• Verify quality and accuracy of imaging and procedural data
• Troubleshoot equipment as needed and collaborate on maintenance issues
• Mentor new team members and contribute to a positive team culture
