Registered NurseUSPI Hill Country Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking a motivated Registered Nurse to join our team. We have 1 OR room and 3 Procedure rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Gastroenterology. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day.Job Duties:Determines data collection based on the patient's condition or needs as related to the proposed interventions.Addresses the physiological, psychological, socio-cultural and spiritual needs/responses of the patient.Demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks and flexibility as job priorities change.Demonstrates a positive can-do attitudeWork is accurate and completeDemonstrates knowledge and follows AORN standardsFunctions as a team memberCompletes initial and annual competencies as required.Maintains licenses and certifications.Adheres to dress code, attendance punctuality, meal break and rest periodsDemonstrates the ability to communicate clearly and conciselyAttends required department and hospital meetings.Assumes responsibility for continuing education requirementsWho We Are At USPI, we create relationships that create better care.
