Staff Product Designer

Iverson is a creative and technology partner to ambitious companies. We help businesses identify opportunities and solve their most pressing problems. Thumb-stopping campaigns, brand formation, and world-class interface design are just a few ways we drive impact. We are looking for a Staff Product Designer who helps shapes how we think about product design across the entire agency. You set the strategic vision for complex client ecosystems, influence design quality and direction at scale, and deliver systemic solutions that elevate multiple projects and clients simultaneously. This role is for the designer who’s already mastered end-to-end execution and now wants to multiply impact through influence, systems, and craft leadership. Key Responsibilities Define and drive product design strategy for major client accounts and cross-client themes, influencing roadmaps, opportunity identification, and long-term vision. Lead the most ambiguous, high-stakes, or organization-spanning design initiatives—spanning multiple products, platforms, or brands. Shape broader design culture: evolve critique rituals, design principles, processes, and quality standards that benefit the whole team. Own end-to-end design on flagship or complex client projects while simultaneously guiding parallel efforts across teams. Translate high-level business goals, emerging tech, and user ecosystems into clear, ambitious design directions that multiple squads can rally around. Partner at the highest levels with clients, internal leadership, PMs, and engineering to align on vision, trade-offs, and measurable outcomes. Resolve systemic design debt, introduce modular thinking, and create leverage that lets the team ship faster and better long-term. Mentor and coach senior/mid-level designers through pairing, design reviews, career guidance, and unblocking complex challenges. What We’re Looking For Experience: 8+ years in product design with 3+ years operating at a senior/staff-equivalent level. Extensive portfolio of high-impact, strategic work across complex SaaS, consumer, or enterprise products—ideally with agency/consultancy exposure. Creative Vision: Master-level craft combined with exceptional strategic thinking—able to see the big picture, define north stars, and connect dots others miss. Multitasker: Thrive across 3–5 concurrent high-visibility initiatives while maintaining influence on the broader design org. Communication: Exceptional at storytelling, persuasion, and alignment—can rally cross-functional leaders, defend bold directions, and simplify complexity for any audience. Extreme Ownership Mentality: You take personal responsibility for design quality and impact across projects you don’t directly own—proactive, relentless, and outcome-obsessed. AI Forward: Actively leveraging and pushing AI tools to evolve workflows, ideation, and prototyping at an advanced level. Sense of Humor: Grounded, collaborative, and able to keep high-stakes environments human and enjoyable. “That Dog”: Hungry for systemic impact, always leveling up the practice, and willing to invest extra effort to move the entire team forward. Why Join Iverson? Remote-first: Work from anywhere in the United States. Our culture is built to support remote-first collaboration and flexibility. If you are local to OC and want to join us in office, there are always open desks. Flexibility: Enjoy unlimited time off and the autonomy to structure your workday in a way that suits you best. Growth-Oriented: We’re committed to helping our team members grow personally and professionally through ongoing learning opportunities and meaningful challenges. Creative Environment: Be part of a team that celebrates design, innovation, and a playful approach to solving problems. #J-18808-Ljbffr Iverson Inc.
