Job Title: Senior PHP Web Application Developer

Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior PHP Web Application Developer with 12+ years of experience in designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in PHP, Azure, and jQuery , along with experience working in Agile environments.
Mandatory Technical Skills
- PHP - Strong hands-on experience in PHP web application development, debugging, maintenance, and performance optimization.
- Microsoft Azure - Experience deploying, configuring, monitoring, and supporting PHP-based applications on Azure.
- jQuery - Strong experience developing dynamic and interactive web interfaces using jQuery and JavaScript.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain scalable PHP web applications.
- Develop reusable and maintainable PHP components and web services.
- Integrate PHP applications with databases, APIs, and third-party systems.
- Develop responsive and interactive UI components using jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS .
- Deploy and support applications on Microsoft Azure .
- Troubleshoot application, performance, and production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Implement application security, coding standards, and performance best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, release management, and production deployments.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, architects, and other developers.
- Work effectively within Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Prepare technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with PHP web applications .
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Strong experience with jQuery and JavaScript .
- Experience with web technologies such as HTML5 and CSS.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and web services.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or equivalent degree.
Preferred Skills
- PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter .
- Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure SQL, and Azure DevOps.
- CI/CD and source-control tools such as Git.
- API integration and microservices.
- Application performance optimization and security best practices.
