HOME CLINIC: Open positions are located at various clinics in Spokane including locations in Downtown, North, & South; Liberty Lake; and Spokane Valley). Clinics include General Pediatrics, & Pediatric Specialties. We will discuss current open positions and your preferences during the interview. The job utilizes a combination of skills including: Clerical computer and phone skills Customer service/people skills Medical terminology Hands on clinical skills Typical job skills include: Taking vital signs like pulse and blood pressure Updating medications, allergies and other information in patient’s medical records Performing some medical procedures, specimen collection and lab testing This is a combined posting for Associate Medical Assistant, Medical Assistant Registered and Medical Assistant. Associate Medical Assistant Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants Or Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program Or Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces Or Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration Or Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire. Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting (0-6 months) Preferred Qualifications: 6 months prior experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment. 6 months previous experience in a healthcare setting working with an Electronic Health record (EHR). Associate Medical Assistant Salary Range, NE Washington: Min: $17.06, Max: $26.07 Most candidates can expect a starting pay of $20.91/hr or higher depending on experience. Medical Assistant Registered: Required Qualifications: Washington Medical Assistant Registration within 60 days of hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire. 6 months of healthcare experience. 6 months of Medical Assistant experience.
