Step into an impactful role supporting the well-being and academic progress of students as a school psychologist working onsite at two welcoming elementary schools in the Arvada, CO area. This full-time contract position runs from August 11, 2026, through May 21, 2027, and offers a chance to make a difference in a supportive educational setting.

You'll conduct assessments, develop intervention strategies, participate in IEP meetings, and collaborate with teachers and families to address students’ diverse needs. Caseload is approximately 40 students, ensuring you have the time and focus to offer in-depth, high-quality support.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold a 'Professional Special Services License' issued by the Colorado Department of Education (active or in-progress for out-of-state applicants)
• Demonstrate expertise in psycho-educational assessment, consultation, and intervention for elementary-aged students
• Exceptional interpersonal and interview skills, with the ability to provide detailed descriptions of your experience, approach, and strengths
• Energetic, positive, and engaging presence, with a passion for working with children and school staff
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams is highly valued
• For out-of-area professionals: evidence of thoughtful preparation regarding relocation logistics, including licensure, travel, and housing

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide psycho-educational evaluations and recommend appropriate strategies and services
• Develop individualized plans and participate actively in IEP meetings
• Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding student mental health and educational supports
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and encouraging environment across campuses

You will participate in a structured two-interview process, first meeting with the Special Education Coordinator and then the School Principal.
