Echo and Vascular Tech Reg

Job Summary The Echo / Vascular Tech performs echo and/or vascular studies including transthoracic, transesophageal, stress echo, and vascular lab procedures. The Echo Tech performs 2D, M-Mode, Doppler, and color flow studies on adult and pediatric patients. The Vascular Tech performs vascular studies per protocol. The technician maintains lab protocols, accreditation, and provides care appropriate to patient ability and developmental level. What You Will Do in This Role Facilitate cooperation of hospital staff in a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care. Provide outstanding service to patients, physicians, employees, and guests. Show initiative, complete processes, and assist without prompting. Maintain awareness of limitations and seek guidance when needed. Prioritize activities based on service demands. Detect errors, initiate corrective actions appropriately. Understand and uphold patient rights and confidentiality. Make appropriate referrals for ethical concerns. Practice cost-efficiency. Perform technical skills proficiently according to standards, validated annually. Apply specialized knowledge to job requirements. Qualifications Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date. Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) within 6 months of start date.
