Job Description

The Queens Medical Center - West Oahu is seeking a full-time Nocturnist to join an exceptional team at its West O'ahu facility. Here, you will be part of the largest hospitalist team in the state, in a night-shift position.

There are no required procedures and opportunities are available for academic/teaching involvement if interested. The team also has specialists on staff available for consults when needed.

Position Details:

• Full-time position with 3-on/6-off schedule
\n
• Night shift 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
\n
• No call responsibilities
\n
• 120-bed facility; physicians would round on 15 to 16 patients
\n
• Large state-of-the-art facility with excellent support system
\n
• Specialists on staff available for consults when needed
\n
• Ability to perform procedures is a plus, but not required
\n
• Providers only supporting a single site, opportunity to provide additional coverage at additional locations after getting acclimated to primary site if desired
\n

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary of $303,293 per year
\n
• Opportunity for incentives are available
\n
• Up to $25,000 in relocation assistance
\n
• $4,000 CME
\n
• 401K plan, Company Retirement Contributions plan, Medical, Dental, Vision

Qualifications & Requirements:

\n
• Must be a board-certified/board-eligible MD/DO
\n
• Must be Internal Medicine trained
\n
• Both new graduates and experienced candidates are welcome to apply

The Queens Medical Center - West Oahu opened its doors in 2014 to extend the mission and services of The Queens Health Systems to the West region. The 104-bed medical center was developed in partnership with the West Oahu community and employs a caring and dedicated team of providers. Ideally situated to serve the fastest-growing region in Hawaii, the facility offers Primary Care and a variety of outpatient specialty services within a modern healing environment.

Ewa Beach and its surrounding leeward (southwestern) coastal areas are located on O'ahu, Hawai'i's third-largest island. The area is a family friendly suburbia of Honolulu, approximately 10-15 miles from Downtown Honolulu featuring master-planned communities, shopping, and a rich cultural heritage. There is more sun and less rain on this part of the island.
