Installation & Project Coordinator

Pierce Flooring & Cabinet Design Center is seeking a full-time Installation & Project Coordinator in Billings, Montana . In this role, you’ll help bring customers’ flooring and cabinet projects to life by connecting customers, sales professionals, installation teams, and vendors from the initial sale through project completion. You’ll coordinate installation schedules, review project details, support purchasing, and track project costs while keeping everyone informed as plans change. This position is well suited to an organized, adaptable problem-solver who enjoys customer service and working with a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate installation schedules, communicate with customers, and adjust timelines as project needs change.
• Support the sales team by reviewing project paperwork, verifying payments and approvals, and checking that project information is complete.
• Coordinate inventory and provide purchasing with the information needed to process orders.
• Serve as a key point of contact for customers, installers, vendors, and internal teams, keeping project updates clear and addressing challenges professionally.
• Partner with the Operations Manager to address customer concerns, track claims, and help move issues toward resolution.
• Review vendor and installer invoices, reconcile project expenses, and complete financial closeouts to support timely installer payments.

• Strong communication, customer service, and conflict-resolution skills, including confidence handling challenging conversations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and follow through independently.
• An adaptable, solutions-focused approach to unexpected situations, with the ability to stay calm under pressure, follow established processes, and collaborate with others.
• Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new software.
• Experience in project coordination, scheduling, construction, or administrative operations is preferred.
• Experience with job costing, invoicing, or RFMS is a plus.
