Plant and Value Chain Optimization Director

Drax seeks a Plant and Value Chain Optimization Director to lead performance improvement across its energy generation portfolio and end-to-end value chain. Reporting into Executive Leadership, you will design and deliver strategies that maximize plant efficiency, reduce carbon intensity, and increase profitability. You will leverage data analytics, market insights, and best-practice operations to optimize fuel sourcing, generation, and delivery. Partnering with engineering, operations, and commercial teams, you will drive cross-functional projects, embed continuous improvement, and mentor a high-performing team, supporting Drax’s inclusive, sustainable culture and zero-carbon mission.
