Job Functions

• Provide crucial intraoperative assistance—prepping surgical rooms, positioning patients, and managing surgical instruments
• Offer exemplary pre- and post-operative care, including administering medications, managing wound care, planning discharges, and educating patients

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations focusing on surgery is highly preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Current, unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
