Excavation Foreperson

We are looking for a dedicated Excavation Foreperson to coordinate all field work for assigned projects, ensuring they are completed on or below budget, on or ahead of schedule, and with accurate reporting and incident-free performance. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage all field work for assigned projects, ensuring professional, quality, and environmentally sound execution.
- Supervise and train assigned project personnel, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety programs.
- Manage project schedules and budgets, aiming to complete projects below budget and ahead of schedule.
- Ensure adequate labor, materials, and resources are procured for project efficiency.
- Work with inspectors, suppliers, and co-workers to meet company standards and project specifications.
- Submit accurate timesheets and reports daily.
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe job site.
- Document job conditions that may impact project timelines or quality.
- Care for company vehicles and equipment, reporting any issues to the Equipment Manager.
- Perform other duties as directed by management.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of excavation/pipe laying experience (Preferred).
- At least 1 year of leadership experience (Preferred).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of construction safety protocols and regulations.
