Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift Full-Time | Glen Haven Health & Rehabilitation | Northport, AL Base Pay: $31.00-$40.40 per hour (based on experience) Shift: 11:00 PM-7:00 AM New Leadership. We're currently hiring a Full-Time RN for the 11:00 PM-7:00 AM night shift . RN Night Shift Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and long-term care setting. Assess, monitor, and document resident conditions throughout the night shift. Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions according to physician orders. Recognize and respond promptly to changes in resident condition. Provide clinical leadership and make sound nursing decisions during overnight hours. Develop, implement, and update individualized resident care plans. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team. Maintain accurate and timely electronic nursing documentation. Supervise, mentor, and support Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). Promote resident safety, comfort, dignity, and quality of life. Follow infection prevention, quality improvement, and regulatory standards. Qualifications Current Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Current CPR/BLS certification. New graduate RNs are encouraged to apply. Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, post-acute care, or geriatric nursing experience preferred but not required. Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and provide clinical leadership during overnight hours.
