Seasonal Sales Associate

The Seasonal Sales Associate position is for the spring selling season, typically running from May through end of June/first week of July. The actual length of employment can vary and there is no specific guarantee of dates. We are looking for individuals to assist with main responsibilities in our garden tent.

Additional responsibilities can include but are not limited to the following:

• Load purchased product into customers' cars.
• Retrieve carts from parking lot.
• Promptly and professionally handle customer requests and issues.
• Direct customers to an Ace Helpful certified Sales Associate for product knowledge related questions with the verbiage, "That is a great question-let me have _________ help you."
• Thank each customer for their business.
• Perform basic register transactions and help reduce lines at checkout.
• Assists with deliveries.
• Assist in performing maintenance and inventory tasks including but not limited to:

• Stock and replenish product on front sidewalk and greenhouse.
• Stock all warehouse, drop ship and back stock inventory.
• Keep back stock areas neat, clean and organized.
• Assists with inventory maintenance.
• Keep all departments fronted, faced, and priced correctly.
• Assemble products for display and delivery.
• Assists with cleaning, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, emptying trash, and cleaning debris from the building perimeter.
• Water and dead head plants as directed.

Physical Requirements

• All team members must be able to stand for the entirety of their shift not including lunch and break periods.
• All team members must be able to move, handle and lift merchandise and fixtures safely up to a weight of 60lbs.
