Position Details

We are seeking experienced nurses for a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidates will possess the necessary qualifications and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Days: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM
12-hour shifts
Every other weekend and holiday coverage required

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, standards of care, and state laws/practice act.
Documents care and interventions according to standards of care.
Develops, initiates, and executes a patient plan of care based on the individualized needs of the patient, as prescribed by physician and/or hospital policy, including patient and family education.
Participates in department or unit performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance.
Utilizes clinical expertise to provide guidance to other units/departments in support of the patient's longitudinal plan of care.
Employs critical thinking in regards to patient safety and experience, appropriately escalating concerns to the proper chain of command.

Qualifications

Current Wisconsin nursing license
CPR/BLS certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Verification of educational qualifications

Additional Information
