Location: Covington, KY
Pay Rate: $21.50 - $23.05 per hour (based on experience)
Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire
Schedule: Monday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM; Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM; Rotating weekends

What You'll Do

• Perform venipuncture, capillary collections, and specimen processing following established procedures
• Collect specimens from pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients with accuracy and professionalism
• Verify patient identification and accurately label specimens to ensure quality and compliance
• Prepare specimens for laboratory testing and maintain required documentation
• Provide exceptional customer service while explaining collection procedures and helping patients feel at ease
• Support clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing as required
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment
• Work independently while managing multiple priorities in a busy patient service setting

What We're Looking For

• A current, up-to-date resume
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• Strong pediatric phlebotomy experience required
• Excellent specimen collection, processing, and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
• Keyboard and data entry experience
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to support coverage at multiple locations when needed
• Ability to meet compliance requirements
• Must be eligible and provide proof of eligibility to work in the US
