Wind Turbine Technician

Title: Wind Turbine Tech Base pay range $30.00/hr - $38.00/hr Additional compensation types Annual Bonus Title: Wind Turbine Tech PR : $30 - $38/hr base + OT paid at 1.5x base Travel : 0-15% (Travel will only be to Florida for initial training and as needed trainings moving forward) PPE & Tools : All necessary PPE, tools, and equipment are paid for by TEP Expenses : Any travel expenses incurred by employee are reimbursed by TEP Duration : 12 month contract with possible extensions/conversion Required Skills & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent. 3+ years as technician. Computer Savvy Valid driver's license. Successfully complete applicable safety and technical training program for the entry level technician. Job Description Monitor and maintain wind generation equipment: Respond to alarms, correct abnormal conditions, and ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair: Address electrical, electronic, mechanical, and computer issues using various tools. Develop procedures and schedules: Plan inspections and maintenance activities. General facility support: Clean and maintain buildings, shops, tools, and equipment. Documentation: Complete maintenance work orders and safety documentation (LOTO, JSA).
