Phlebotomist
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Carthage, Tennessee location to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide patient services. The position offers a Monday-Friday schedule with opportunities for growth and performance-based bonuses.
Responsibilities
- Perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and similar analyses
- Accurately enter patient information and maintain specimen logs
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and process billing information
- Provide customer service to patients and perform administrative duties as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
- Minimum 3 months phlebotomy experience or current certification
- Exceptional customer service track record
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation and schedule flexibility
