Mechanical Brake Technician

Carpenter & Paterson, Inc. is currently hiring for a full-time Mechanical Brake Technician to work at our Ellijay, GA location. Press Operators are responsible for operating and maintaining the hydraulic and mechanical press equipment. (Rolling, bending, forming material) Operate press equipment in accordance with the work order. Assist the department foreman in meeting production targets. Maintain quality standards. Keep work area clean and orderly. Notify managers concerning any non-conformities and the need for repairs to the facility or equipment. Maintain a healthy and safe working environment. Grinding and cleaning Moving materials through the operation of forklifts.
