Registered Nurse - High Risk Labor & Delivery
This is a 13-week contract position.
Day shift 4x12 hours (06:00 - 18:00) with a 36 or 48-hour option.
Join our team in a High Risk Labor & Delivery Unit specializing in the care of laboring patients with high-risk conditions such as pre-eclampsia and diabetes for gestations 34 weeks and greater. You will be involved in managing C-Sections, External Cephalic Versions, and providing comprehensive postpartum care.
Provide care for laboring patients including monitoring and evaluating high-risk conditions.
Assist in C-Sections and external cephalic versions.
Administer medications and manage blood products as required.
Conduct assessments and support with breastfeeding initiatives.
Perform triage of obstetrical patients and provide patient education.
Must hold a valid RN license in Kansas or a Compact RN license.
2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery preferred.
Certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Advanced and Intermediate preferred.
Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
