Position Type: Full Time Walk / stand long periods of time Weekly Pay Pay Rate: $14.19 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 07:30 AM - 05:30 PM, Tue 07:30 AM - 05:30 PM, Fri 07:30 AM - 05:30 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a cultural institution setting. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and sharing information with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout galleries, exhibit areas, public spaces, entrances, and the exterior perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor flow, assist with directions and general questions, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations according to site guidelines. Support closing and opening routines as assigned, help to protect property and exhibits through observation and reporting, and follow post orders and emergency procedures during alarms, medical events, and/or evacuations. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
