Estimator Apprentice

Job Description

Y2K Electrical Systems Inc. is looking for an Estimator Apprentice to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, motivated. No estimating experience is required—we'll provide the training.

Responsibilities

Assist with preparing electrical estimates and proposals.
Review plans and perform material takeoffs.
Request supplier pricing and organize bid documents.
Support estimators and project managers.
Learn estimating software and industry standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Strong computer, math, and organizational skills.
Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn.
Construction Residential / Commercial Electrical Knowledge is Required

Y2K Electric has been serving the Orlando area since 2000. We specialize in the wiring of Residential Custom Homes, installations of generators, and small commercial projects. We pride ourselves on our work and expect all employees to do the same. Most employees have started their career with this company and have worked here for several years.
