Staff iOS Software Engineer

We're assisting a well-funded startup in the AI music-making space with their search for a Staff iOS Software Engineer. The role will work onsite in their Cambridge, MA, NYC, or LA office. What you'll do:

• Design and build the iOS app for creating, exploring, and listening to music
• Create foundational abstractions and libraries for performant, highly interactive audio experiences
• Contribute to design and product decisions across the app
• Optimize the performance, joy, beauty, and feel of our products
• Take ownership of a wide variety of technical and design decisions for the iOS app

What you'll bring:

• 7+ years of experience shipping production iOS apps
• Experience at a top-tier consumer-facing tech company
• Early stage startup experience
• Advanced expertise in Swift (SwiftUI + UIKit as necessary)
• Experience building fluid animations with an eye for translating prototypes into robust code
• An obsession with great user experiences, getting the details right, iterating & learning rapidly

• Experience dealing with millions of users
• A love of music (listening, exploring, making)
