PRN Respiratory Therapist - Non-NICU Nights

Role Overview: The Respiratory Therapist II provides advanced respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessment in complex care settings, primarily critical care areas. Responsibilities include ventilator management, airway procedures, arterial blood gas sampling, patient education, and collaboration with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans. The role involves mentoring new staff, ensuring patient safety, and supporting quality improvement initiatives. Key Duties Delivering high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care and education Performing assessments, ventilator management, and invasive/non-invasive procedures Collaborating with healthcare team members for care planning Promoting safety, accurate documentation, and compliance with policies Mentoring staff and students, supporting professional development Participating in quality improvement and evidence-based practices Qualifications & Skills Associates or Bachelors in Respiratory Therapy (preferred) Certified as NBRC-RRT, Respiratory Care Prof, BLS, and ACLS 0-2 years of clinical experience with at least 6 months in critical care Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills Proficiency with computer systems and data management #J-18808-Ljbffr
