Intern - Investment Banking Program Analyst

Contribute to the build out of financial models and support financial analysis Conduct company and industry research Prepare client materials and pitch presentations Participate in diligence sessions, client meetings, and internal discussions Collaborate with senior bankers across sectors and geographies Support the development of junior team members Support live transactions within a product or industry coverage group Participate in ongoing coaching, mentorship, and feedback throughout the program Follow Wells Fargo risk and compliance programs, policies, and procedures Monitor, identify, escalates, and remediate risk and compliance issues Requirements 6+ months of Investment Banking Program experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education Bachelor’s degree with expected graduation between December 2026 and June 2027 Successful completion of the 2026 Investment Banking Analyst Program Strong academic achievement Demonstrated interest in finance and financial markets Strong analytical and communication skills Proven ability to take on significant responsibility Relevant internship experience Ability to work effectively both independently and in teams Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States Must not require work visa sponsorship from Wells Fargo now or in the future Must successfully complete and pass a FINRA background check prior to hire Must meet ongoing FINRA regulatory obligations, including periodic screening and mandatory reporting Must not be subject to statutory disqualification under FINRA rules Core Competencies Demonstrates strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling, with a solid foundation in finance and financial markets. Capable of effective collaboration and communication, while adhering to compliance and risk management standards.
