Your Role and Responsibilities

• Performing comprehensive assessments, orchestrating diagnostic tests, and creating personalized care plans tailored to each patient
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, and chronic health conditions, collaborating with physicians or taking the lead independently as your credentials allow
• Providing education to patients and families on health maintenance, prevention, and disease management

Your Educational Background

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree
• Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program accredited by a recognized institution

Necessary Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner license for the state of North Carolina
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, or the ability to attain these within 90 days
