Senior Transactional Paralegal

Senior Transactional Paralegal, Renewable Energy M&A and Project Finance Hybrid in New York or Denver, or remote $120,000 to $140,000 base, with flexibility for exceptional experience, plus annual bonus I'm working with a solar and storage developer that was taken private in 2024 by an infrastructure investor. Since then almost the entire leadership team has changed, including a new CEO, CFO and legal lead. The investor has committed the funding to reach 500MW of operating assets over the next three to five years, and most of that will come through acquisitions. They're hiring a senior paralegal to work directly with the legal lead, the project finance team and the head of development on each deal. You won't be handed tasks and checked on daily. You'll help run transactions from diligence through closing, then take the same portfolios through development financing, construction financing and tax equity. What the work involves Running diligence on project acquisitions, including data rooms, request lists and fast, organized responses to buyers, lenders and counsel Managing closing checklists, CP lists, signature packets and post-closing items Forming and maintaining project entities across multiple states Handling NDAs and general corporate records Supporting real estate work on projects, such as leases, easements and title, alongside a dedicated real estate lawyer What they're looking for 5+ years as a paralegal on corporate, M&A, project finance or real estate transactions, with real deal volume Experience running multi-party closings without close attorney supervision A steady career history and a long-term commitment to paralegal work Energy or infrastructure experience is a plus but not required. Strong transactional paralegals from law firms or other industries are welcome.
