DevOps Engineer - Hybrid

DevOps EngineerGenesis10 is currently seeking a DevOps Engineer for a hybrid position (minimum 3 days per week onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.This role is responsible for supporting and maintaining enterprise DevOps platforms, CI/CD pipelines, application hosting environments, and deployment automation processes. The ideal candidate will partner with development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure reliable software delivery, platform stability, and operational excellence. This position involves providing support for production and non-production environments, incident resolution, release coordination, vulnerability remediation, and driving continuous process improvements through automation.Responsibilities:Manage Free and Open-Source Software (FOSS), including identifying and remediating open-source vulnerabilitiesTrack, report, and develop remediation plans for End-of-Life (EOL) technologies across application portfoliosCoordinate with application and infrastructure teams for technology refreshesAnalyze security findings, prioritize remediation, and partner with development teams to resolve vulnerabilitiesTrack remediation SLAs and compliance metrics, producing executive and technical reportingSupport audit and regulatory requirementsRequirements:Strong Linux background and troubleshooting experienceExperience with Git, Ansible, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelinesExperience with web servers, application support, and production operationsExperience with CMS platforms such as AEM or TeamSiteKnowledge of CI/CD pipeline implementation, release management, and build automationProficiency in environment management (DEV/SIT/PROD) and deployment troubleshootingExperience with CDN technologies (Akamai)Skills in application monitoring, logging, incident, and production supportCore Java skillsDesired skills:Experience supporting content publishing workflows, content deployments, code promotions, and production release activitiesUnderstanding of CMS architecture, author/publisher environments, dispatcher configurations, caching, and content replication processesAbility to troubleshoot content delivery, publishing failures, deployment issues, and environment-related problems across CMS platformsPay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
