About Us
Michael's Tuscany Room is a premier private event venue specializing in weddings, quinceañeras, celebrations, corporate events, showers, and special occasions. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and motivated individual to join our team and help create exceptional experiences for our clients from their first inquiry through the day of their event.
Position Summary
The Event Sales & Venue Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for prospective clients and plays a key role in venue sales, event coordination, and administrative support. This position requires excellent customer service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced event environment.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and website inquiries
- Schedule and conduct venue tours with prospective clients
- Meet with clients to discuss event details, packages, and venue offerings
- Prepare proposals, contracts, and event paperwork
- Follow up with leads and assist in converting inquiries into booked events
- Maintain client records and event calendars
- Assist clients throughout the planning process
- Coordinate final event details including timelines, guest counts, menus, and vendor information
- Support event setup and ensure events run smoothly on-site
- Communicate with vendors, clients, and venue staff
- Perform general office and administrative duties
- Assist management with special projects and event operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in event planning, hospitality, banquet sales, wedding venues, restaurants, hotels, or customer service preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable using email, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM systems
- Available to work some evenings and weekends as events require
- Sales experience is a plus
