In this assignment, you will partner with a school nurse to conduct a comprehensive auditory processing Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE), essential for ensuring students receive the individualized support they need. This role is onsite and designed for one evaluation to be conducted before the end of September.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, active Illinois Audiologist License required
• Proven experience in school-based or pediatric audiology, with a strong grasp of auditory processing assessment
• Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with students, families, and educational professionals
• Detail-oriented in evaluating and documenting findings for educational planning
• Ability to collaborate seamlessly with nursing and special education staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct a thorough Independent Educational Evaluation focused on auditory processing, using evidence-based protocols
• Partner with the assigned school nurse throughout the assessment and reporting process
• Complete all necessary documentation and reports, aiding the school team in developing accurate educational recommendations
