Job Description

Job Title: Medical Scribe
Location: Visalia, CA

Job Summary:

The Medical Scribe will assist healthcare providers by documenting patient visits, updating electronic medical records (EMRs), and ensuring accurate and timely medical documentation.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday
• 8:00am - 5:00pm
• Temp assignment (2-3 months but can go on for 6 months)

Pay:

• $18.00 - $20.00

Essential Job Functions:

• Document patient visits accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Record patient history, examinations, and treatment plans.
• Update patient charts with test results, medications, and provider notes.
• Prepare and review medical records for completeness.
• Assist providers with documentation during patient appointments.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.
• Perform other documentation and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 1-2 Years of experience.
• Must have knowledge of e-Clinicals
• Bilingual Preferred but not required.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Highly organized; ability to multi-task.
• Fast learner.
