Job Title Registered Nurse – Emergency Room Location Livingston, TX Schedule / Job Type Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Available Shifts: 7a–7p, 7p–7a, 3p–3a, 5p–5a | Every other weekend required | Holiday rotation required (A & B rotation) Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a 19-bed Emergency Room with 3 trauma bays, managing a patient ratio of 4:1 Assess, triage, and treat a high-volume patient population of approximately 70–95 patients per day, including cardiac, GI, psychiatric, COPD, and respiratory illness cases Manage ER holds intermixed within the department, maintaining continuity of care for held patients Perform or assist with telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation; no dedicated monitor techs on unit Collaborate with ED physicians and mid-level providers, charge nurses, and patient care technicians to deliver coordinated emergency care Utilize the Paragon EMR system for documentation and patient management Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification Ability to interpret telemetry strips independently Preferred Experience / Skills Previous experience in a high-volume emergency department setting Familiarity with Paragon EMR Experience managing psychiatric patients and working with designated psych/seclusion room protocols Triage experience (not required but utilized if qualified) Why Join Us Work in a well-supported emergency environment with in-house security, respiratory therapy services, and on-site radiology capabilities including portable X-ray and nearby CT No call, standby, or floating requirements — allowing you to focus entirely on delivering quality emergency care #J-18808-Ljbffr TravelNurseSource
