Senior UI/UX Frontend EngineerWe are hiring a Senior UI/UX Frontend Engineer to join our client's engineering team on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the most innovative technology companies in the U.S. You'll help drive scalable frontend architecture, enhance user experience, and contribute to high-performance web platforms serving a large user base.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSSBuild and manage application state using modern libraries such as Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or similarDevelop and maintain reusable component libraries and design systemsImplement component-driven development practices using StorybookArchitect and develop micro-frontend or module federation-based solutionsOptimize applications for performance, scalability, and maintainabilityIntegrate frontend applications with backend systems using REST and/or GraphQL APIsLeverage Next.js features including App Router, Server Components, and SSR strategiesCollaborate with UX designers, backend engineers, and product teamsEnsure code quality through best practices, code reviews, and testing strategiesWhat We're Looking For5+ years of experience in UI/UX engineering, frontend development, or frontend architectureStrong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern CSS frameworks (Tailwind CSS preferred)Experience building large-scale web applications or high-traffic user platformsHands-on experience developing and scaling component libraries/design systemsSolid understanding of state management tools and frontend architecture patternsExperience with Next.js, including SSR and modern rendering strategiesStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with authentication frameworks such as SSO, OAuth2, or SAMLExperience building real-time applications using WebSockets or similar technologiesFamiliarity with micro-frontend architecture and distributed systemsExperience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsCompensationHourly Rate: $65.00 – $70.00 per hour This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.BenefitsThe Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, short-term disability insurance, paid parking/public transportation, (paid time, paid sick and safe time, hours of paid vacation time, weeks of paid parental leave, paid holidays annually - AS Applicable)About UsAt Collabera, we don't just offer jobs—we build careers.
