Key Responsibilities:

• Build and assemble heavy-duty truck frames and equipment components
• Perform welding tasks using various techniques and materials
• Read and interpret welding symbols and technical drawings
• Prepare surfaces by grinding and cleaning to ensure quality welds
• Apply knowledge of metals, fabrication, and assembly processes
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in welding, particularly with heavy-duty truck and equipment components
• Proficiency in reading welding symbols and technical drawings
• Strong mechanical skills and understanding of fabrication processes
• Knowledge of different metals and welding techniques
• Ability to operate grinding tools and surface preparation equipment
• Excellent attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus
