Sheet Metal Estimator

Primary Purpose Responsible for preparing and/or coordinating the preparation of full estimates on large and complex projects as required by client's documents and providing complete conceptual and total bid price. Work Arrangement Office-based Monday-Thursday; Remote Friday Required Skills 2+ years of experience in HVAC, mechanical, or sheet metal estimating. Experience estimating large-scale industrial and commercial HVAC/mechanical projects. Strong understanding of HVAC systems, sheet metal, ductwork, materials, and installation requirements. Ability to perform accurate material and labor takeoffs and prepare detailed project estimates. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, construction documents, and project scopes. Strong understanding of project costs, labor, materials, subcontractor pricing, and bid preparation. Experience with QuickPen or similar estimating software is preferred but not required. Ability to read and interpret documents such as bid front ends, scopes of work, blueprints, safety programs, QA/QC manuals Junior/mid-level is preferred Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Ability to work effectively in an office-based environment Monday through Thursday, with remote work available on Fridays.
