All About People is currently seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for a long-term care Veterans facility. Candidates must be available to work weekends and follow a block-booked schedule. This position offers 12-hour shifts in a supportive healthcare environment focused on quality resident care.

Schedule: Both shifts available

• Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
• Night Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM
• 12-hour shifts
• Block booking schedule required
• Alternating weeks:
  • Week 1: 36 hours
  • Week 2: 48 hours
• Weekend availability is mandatory

Job Responsibilities

• Assist Veterans/Members with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, eating, grooming, transfers, and ambulation.
• Support residents with mobility exercises and range-of-motion activities following nursing instructions.
• Assist nursing staff with basic medical procedures and treatments.
• Monitor and report changes in residents' physical and mental conditions.
• Obtain and document vital signs, intake/output, and specimen collection as directed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Assist residents during mealtimes, including transporting to dining areas and helping with feeding when necessary.
• Respond promptly to resident requests and call lights while ensuring resident dignity and comfort.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary resident environments.
• Assist nurses during emergency situations according to facility procedures.
• Provide transportation assistance for appointments and perform occasional clerical duties as needed.
• Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives and Arizona Management System (AMS) processes.

Qualifications

• Active CNA Certification required
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
• Ability to work effectively in a long-term care environment
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to maintain professionalism and compassion while caring for Veterans/Members
• Weekend availability required
