Mortgage Financing Advisor - (Pulte Mortgage)

Job Summary The Mortgage Financing Advisor is a non-originating role primarily focused on precontract and preapproval advisory conversations with potential homebuyers, builder sales training and support, mortgage loan backlog management, marketing efforts, and relationship management across all stakeholders. The advisor will support loans that have already been originated through the centralized mortgage operations center and act as a liaison between mortgage operations and the business and production teams. Key Responsibilities Meet with buyer prospects to provide financial guidance, expertise and preapproval services. Sell the value of Pulte Mortgage to potential buyers requiring financing; set expectations for application and documentation. Build relationships and provide training with PulteGroup sales consultants. Develop partnerships with centralized operations teammates and ensure smooth transition from pre-contract activities to loan application with the Mortgage Operations team. Provide accurate loan backlog status visibility during weekly builder meetings and assist in progress of loans through the pipeline to ensure on-time construction starts and closings. Contribute to branch performance metrics, including retention, customer service, compliance, and financial goals. Support customer service efforts and provide exceptional service to all stakeholders. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum 3-5 years of prior experience in mortgage lending (preferred). 1-2 years of successful sales and/or business development experience (preferred). Valid driver’s license; active NMLS license preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to convey actionable information to diverse audiences. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Self‑motivated and proactive with strong time‑management, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Excellent customer service and presentation skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. Bilingual skills highly desirable. Compensation Salary offered plus an annual bonus structure. This is an office‑based, non‑commissioned position with no cold calling.
